Jade Loving

I love music that makes you feel something.

I’m Jade Loving, a guitarist, vocalist and live looper based in Virginia Beach. My music moves through love songs, happy songs, inspirational songs and meaningful songs — music that can set a mood, tell a story, bring back a memory, or simply make the moment feel good.

For me, the experience isn’t specifically about getting everyone to sing along. Sometimes it’s about really listening. Sometimes it’s about relaxing with friends, feeling the music, or getting up and dancing.

One of my favorite parts of performing is keeping the music moving. I use live looping, guitar and rhythm to transition from song to song — and even from genre to genre — without dropping the beat. A country song can move into rock, pop can turn into R&B, and an older favorite can flow into something current while the groove keeps going.

I studied music and have spent years developing my own approach to guitar, vocals, arranging and live performance. Before making Virginia Beach home in 2022, I grew up in Houston, Texas and spent ten years pursuing music in New York City. I’m also a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

My repertoire reaches from the 1950s through today and crosses country, rock, pop, R&B and more. I perform solo with live looping, as a duo, and with a full band.
